Presented to a CDS member in recognition of his or her outstanding contribution to community development. The person may be recognized for teaching, research, practice, programming, administration, or any combination of these roles. This person should exemplify the Principles of Good Practice as adopted by the Society. Self-nominations are not accepted.
Eligibility
- Must be a current member of CDS
- Displays Quality – the contribution reflects a high degree of excellence in content and process
- Displays Transferability – the contribution has applicability in other community development related circumstances
- Displays Innovativeness – the contribution engenders originality and a refinement of a current community development principle or practice
- Displays Implementation – the contribution holds promise or has been carried out in a community-based setting
