Greetings fellow CDS Members! I’m pleased to step into my new Officer role and extend an invitation to all of you to join the Working Groups that will be convening in September.
If you are into learning about the cool things happening in Portland, Oregon, please consider joining the 2023 Conference Host WG to help identify and sort out logistics for mobile workshops and a community reception. (Most of the basic conference logistics are already set.) If you are more into developing the Call for Proposals, reviewing submissions, and designing the program, please consider joining the 2023 Conference Program WG! If your interests run toward identifying and developing exciting webinars for virtual professional development, please consider joining the Webinars WG. We already have one scheduled for September, in collaboration with IACD. I hope to hear from you by the end of August because that’s when I’ll be scheduling and convening these Working Groups!
