The Durham Museum

We are excited to be hosting the CDS Annual Conference's Monday Night Reception at The Durham Museum where registered attendees will have access to the museum exhibits, including special one hour access to the traveling exhibit, Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall. The Durham Museum is located at the National Historic Landmark of Omaha's Beautiful Art Deco Union Station. The museum houses an extraordinary array of permanent exhibits including restored train cars, 1940's store fronts, numerous artifacts showing the history of the region, and the Byron Reed collection which includes some of the world's rarest coins and documents. Lauritzen Gardens

Lauritzen Gardens is a 100 acre public garden located in the heart of downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The garden cultivates a diverse living plan collection, offers creative nature-based educational programs and executes significant work to conserve endangered plants of the Great Plains.
