Nette Nelson Travel Scholarship

The Nette Nelson Travel Scholarship Fund was established for the dual purpose of honoring the memory of CDS Member Nette Nelson and to help defray the expenses of CDS Members who wish to present a paper or workshop or give a major address to a community development conference outside of the recipients’ home continent, including the CDS annual conference if is held outside of the recipients’ home continent. The Nette Nelson Travel Scholarship may be received only once.

1. 1. Applicant is a current member of the Community Development Society;

1. 2. Applicant provides evidence of an invitation to present a paper, workshop or major address at a community development conference held outside of the member’s home continent plus evidence of his/her acceptance of the invitation;

1. 3. Applicant provides written support for the importance of the presentation to the community development profession by two additional CDS members.
